The nuclear industry uses a unique array of terminology, acronyms and jargon, which can be bewildering and confusing to newcomers. Burges Salmon maintains a comprehensive Glossary of key terms and acronyms to assist those in the UK civil nuclear industry, by explaining and de-mystifying some of the terminology that will be encountered on a daily basis. The Glossary is peer reviewed by leading figures within the nuclear industry. The Glossary was originally produced for the 2011 edition of the ’Burges Salmon Guide to Nuclear Law’ and is updated twice a year.
