Netherlands Aerospace Group – Fact Finding Mission to the West of England
The West of England is recognised as one of the key aerospace regions in Europe, if not the world. The Netherlands aerospace industry has traditionally looked for areas of co-operation with industries and organisations in other countries. The NAG with its members and representatives of the Netherlands Government – through its “Fact Finding Mission” – are seeking to understand the potential areas of co-operation with organisations based in the West of England.
It is expected that this will be the first of a number of visits by Dutch Industry, with reciprocal Missions to the Netherlands by members of WEAF.
Netherlands Aerospace Group – Background
The NAG is the trade association for national and international organisations established in the Netherlands and active in Aerospace & Airport Development. The NAG has more than 100 members who together represent 95% of the Dutch aviation industry’s revenue. The NAG’s mission is to continuously optimise the Dutch aviation industry’s ability to compete internationally.
To realise this collective ambition worldwide, the NAG supports this sector through the development of expert knowledge, advocacy, access to the national and international market, and an extensive network. Because the NAG focuses on Airport Development & Infrastructure, Aircraft Manufacturing and Aircraft Maintenance, we are able to utilise and serve the entire air transport system.
With local NAG representation in Brazil, France, Turkey, and the United Kingdom, plus excellent contacts with embassies and consulates, the NAG has an extensive international network that can be put to use for its members.
Netherlands Aerospace Group in the UK
The NAG has established a UK presence through the aerospace and defence consultancy, Newland-Hardwick Ltd (NHL). NHL is based in Bristol and has a wide global aerospace network which includes numerous organisations in the UK and the Netherlands.
NHL supports aerospace and defence organisations who wish to seek business opportunities in the UK and the Netherlands.
