High Resolution Motion Capture Systems for Boeing Technology Alliance
Boeing has a need for high resolution motion capture systems that can be used on a mobile air or ground vehicle.
In a wearable display, the system must have sufficient resolution and response time to stabilise a virtual display in real time. Specifically, accurate to less than a millimetre at ranges of about two meters and ~200 Hz update rate.
Using 3-D or similar techniques, the system must virtually track the operators hands for gesture recognition. We are looking for a solution with a Technology Readiness Level of 6 or higher.
