High Resolution Light Weight Head Worn Displays for Boeing Technology Alliance
Boeing has a need for high resolution, light weight, head worn displays, such as eyewear.
The display must be comfortable enough for 8 hours of use as a primary display. Resolution must be equivalent to 1080p or 1920 x 1200 dpi/physical displays.
Field of view varies by application. Minimum need is 44°horizontal by 30°vertical. Increasing the horizontal field of view up to 80° would be a significant benefit for many applications. At least one application will require a 60° vertical field of view.
Full color gamut (16.7million colors) is required. We are looking for a solution with a Technology Readiness Level of 6 or higher.
