Non-Electrical Portable Heat Pack for Boeing Technology Alliance
Boeing has a need for a non-electrical portable heat pack that will cure a repair patch at 180 deg F for durations ranging from 30 minutes to 4 hours.
Challenges to overcome for aerospace application are requirements for maintaining the heat distribution consistency across the entire patch and during the entire duration of use, also consistency of operation outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
We are seeking a technology readiness level of at least 4.
