SUMMARY:Virtual Workshop - Signposting Supply Chain Opportunities
DESCRIPTION:WE-Zero Virtual Workshop – Signposting supply chain opportunities\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are please to announce our first WE-Zero cluster event. \nIntroduction \nThe recent COP26 conference has highlighted to the world the need to reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions. \nThe South West Aerospace and Advanced Engineering sector which is represented by WEAF is committed to helping to support regional development of infrastructure and technologies which can deliver ZERO emissions across Aerospace and a range of associated sectors. \nBased on the growing interest in the potential for a hydrogen economy. WEAF held a virtual H2 SW summit in 2021. \nWith the launch of the West of England Zero emissions cluster\, “WE-ZERO” WEAF is working to bring together stakeholders involved with the development of the Net Zero emission eco system under regional collaborative cluster. \nRecently Airbus announced it was speeding up its investigations into the possible use of Hydrogen\, as a clean fuel which could slash aviation emissions\, including a complete transition from conventional jet fuel around 2050. Bristol Airport is quickly developing its plans for sustainable aviation \nWEAF follows up H2SW with a virtual 2 day webinar. \nThe event will hear from expert speakers\, providing an insight to the developments of Hydrogen and Electrification and the opportunities that lie within the supply chain. \n\n\n  \nhttps://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/we-zero-virtual-workshop-signposting-supply-chain-opportunities-tickets-203084169217Day 1: Hydrogen \n09:45 – 10:15 Introduction from Colin Turner\, WEAF CEO and keynote speaker (tbc) \n10:15 – 11:00 Speaker Session 1 \n11:00 – 11:45 Speaker Session 2 \n11:45 – 12:30 Speaker Session 3 \n12:30 – 13:00 Speaker Session 4 \n  \nDay 2: Electrical \n09:45 – 10:15 Introduction from Colin Turner\, WEAF CEO and keynote speaker (tbc) \n10:15 – 11:00 Speaker Session 1 \n11:00 – 11:45 Speaker Session 2 \n11:45 – 12:30 Speaker Session 3 \n12:30 – 13:00 Speaker Session 4 \n  \n\n\nKindly Supported by the Department for International Trade.
