DESCRIPTION:Following a successful and inspiring event in March\, WEAF is delighted to announce the next date for our Empowering Women in the Workplace meeting\, taking place on Tuesday\, 1st July\, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. \nOur first event brought together women and male allies from across the UK aerospace\, defence\, and advanced manufacturing sectors. Read the article here. \nIt provided a valuable platform to share experiences\, network\, and discuss how to better support one another in the workplace. Building on the conversations started in March\, and listening to the feedback\, we’d like to continue these discussions. \n  \nWhat to Expect \nThis session will focus on two key subjects: \n\nCreating a positive workplace culture – Sharing strategies for effectively managing the challenges of remote and flexible working practices.\nMale allyship and support in the workplace – Exploring how men can actively support their female colleagues.\n\n  \nWe encourage male allies to join us and participate in these events.  For our male colleagues in the sector who are interested in making a difference or are already doing so\, this event will a great opportunity to both contribute and learn. \nTo book this event simply email events@weaf.co.uk – spaces are limited!
