The West of England Aerospace Forum is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Project Support Officer to be an integral part of the team that is delivering the AeroSpace Cornwall programme.  Reflecting the growth of the aerospace and space sectors across Cornwall, the programme promotes and delivers Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (CIoS).
The programme is delivered by WEAF in Cornwall in partnership with the Cornwall Development Company.  Businesses can benefit from RD&I funding for projects, Innovation Vouchers of up to £5,000 and Supply Chain Support of up to 100 hours.

The Project Support Officer is at the heart of AeroSpace Cornwall, providing high-level administrative support and project coordination to the WEAF Project Manager and the four deployed Technology Managers working directly with Cornish aerospace businesses.  The development and implementation of effective administrative systems, processes and procedures in line with business needs is a key focus of the role as is the checking, completion, handling and processing of associated paperwork ensuring compliance with audit and European funding requirements.  Accuracy, initiative and excellent inter-personal skills are key to maintaining this agile and innovative programme. This is a busy and varied role so the ideal candidate should be flexible, able to multitask and to prioritise workloads accordingly.
