Avon-Dynamic has expanded its’ technical team by employing three new calibration apprentices. In order to maintain our competitive edge and to ensure delivery of a full spectrum calibration, we are providing a platform for Avon-Dynamic’s future technical calibration team.
Our three new Apprentice Calibration Engineers have each been assigned an experienced calibration engineer mentor with an aim of driving learning and skill development.
Each Apprentice has a unique training plan introduced, and our Quality Management Team alongside our Technical Director, Jamie Castree, work closely with the individuals to ensure that all their development needs are met in order to complete their set targets and objectives.
Alongside their training in the job, each apprentice is set to achieve their NVQ Diploma in Engineering Technical Support and attend college weekly to complete their Level 2 certificate in Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
One of the Apprentices has been integrated into Avon-Dynamic’s CMM and Inspection team. With the addition of the UKAS Accreditation for certification of Jigs & Fixtures on-site at customer premises, an already busy department is set to get busier!
The second Apprentice has begun work with our Electrical Calibration team and the third Apprentice with the Pressure, Torque and Force Calibration team. As our Calibration schedules continue to grow, so does the requirement for our continued fast and reliable turnaround times.
The introduction of these three young and enthusiastic apprentice team members has allowed Avon-Dynamic to future plan a calibration service that supports businesses in delivering products, providing a wide range of measurement services and improve quality and turnaround times.
