MCS share their highlights of the last six-months of 2022, plus a sneak peek at how their 2023 is shaping up!
2022 MCS achieved:
- MCS signed the Armed Forces Covenant & the Employer Recognition Scheme Bronze Award
- Acceptance into Aurora Engineering Delivery Partner providing engineering services for Defence Equipment & Support
- They joined the ADS Group, WEAF, and Team Defence Info
- They were at Farnborough International Airshow with ADS in >40ºC sunshine
- They joined over 1000 MoD & Defence Industry SME’s at TDI’s Support Chain Seminar, SupportNET, and Defence Information 2022 (fantastic events – if you haven’t been, get yourself there in 2023!)
- Honoured to be invited to The Chief of Air Staff’s Global Air & Space Chiefs Conference (GASCC) at the IET – one of the standout events of 2022
- MCS became JOSCAR Registered
- Renewed their Cyber Essential Plus Certification
- Re-qualified their ISO 9001 & ISO 27001 Certifications
Mark Langmead, Director of Defence for MCS, also became a Fellow of the Association for Project Management.
Excitement building for 2023:
- Secured an exhibition stand at the prestigious WEAF Expo 23
- MCS have their first two direct-from-the-Armed-Forces employee’s starting with them (both experts in Engineering Management & ILS!)
- Hope to be awarded the Silver Award linked with the Employer Recognition Scheme
- They have joined several Working Groups within ADS & TDI & hope to influence & support our Armed Forces
- They have signed several NDA’s and hope to announce early in the New Year
- MCS have updated their Company Mission, Vision, Values & Behaviours – many will have heard them talking about them in 2022 & plan to formally relaunch in 2023
- They have already registered for DPRTE & DSEI trade shows
- MCS will announce signing to several UK Defence focussed frameworks
- They aim to more than double the number of Employee’s organically in the UK
- Their acquisition of a US-based company working exclusively in the US Defence Aerospace industry
