The Plymouth Electron Microscopy Centre (PEMC) – 6 months left!

The University’s PEMC project, funded by ERDF, has now been running for 3 years, and with just 6 months left, we are keen to maximise the number of companies who receive 12 hours of free support from this facility.

Thanks to the funding, we have worked with over 60 companies so far, from aerospace to food manufacturers, micro-electronics to robotics, bio-energy to medical equipment designers, benefitting the companies in terms of:

new product and process development
improved products and processes
improved quality control
waste reduction (and therefore cost)

To be eligible for the free (European Regional Development Fund) 12 hours of support,  your company must simply be an SME based in Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset or Gloucestershire, with a turnover of less than €40 million – click here to find out more:
