WEAF signs Women in Defence Charter

WEAF, the premier supply chain organisation supporting aerospace, defence, and advanced manufacturing for the South West, is proud to announce its official signatory status of the Women in Defence Charter. This commitment underscores WEAF’s dedication to fostering a more inclusive and equitable defence industry, aligning fully with the Charter’s ambition for increased representation and success of women across the sector. 

WEAF recognises the pivotal role of inclusion and diversity in strengthening the defence community. As a key regional player, WEAF is not only focused on enhancing core capabilities within the South West but also on nurturing its most valuable asset: its people. The organisation already boasts strong female representation across its own teams and throughout its diverse membership, which spans from innovative SMEs to leading Tier-1 companies.
