Formed in 2003, WEAF has spent the last 20 years helping SMEs to grow successful businesses in the aerospace and defence sectors within the South West. Over 1500 leaders, engineers and manufacturers attended our aerospace, defence and space events last year creating long lasting connections with like-minded businesses and business people.

How soon can I start using my WEAF membership?

Once you’ve purchased your membership, you will receive an email confirmation containing your membership number. Once you have this you can gain access as a member immediately.

Will I get a welcome pack?

We are currently working on a welcome pack and hope to have it ready within the next couple of months. We’ll post your membership card and welcome pack as soon as we have them. Please use your digital membership number that will allow you can start using the benefits straight away.

What types of WEAF membership are available?

We currently have one version of the WEAF membership available however, this is based on turnover and differs company to company. If you would like to discuss a specific option eg. apprentice/graduate, please do get in touch.

Who can be included on a WEAF membership?

A WEAF membership is a company-wide membership for any UK aerospace / defence divisions. If you would like to discuss a specific option please do get in touch.

Are WEAF going to introduce digital membership cards?

You will receive a digital membership number when you join WEAF. However, we recognise that this won’t be for everyone and we’re considering how it could function alongside a physical card so that our members have a choice.

How can I join WEAF?

WEAF membership is open to everyone and every business working within Aerospace, Defence, Space and Advanced Manufacturing. If you would like to enquire about a WEAF membership, simply complete the application form on the Join Us page and a member of the WEAF team will be in touch.

I’ve lost my membership number, what should I do?

If you’ve lost your membership number, there’s no need to worry. Please call us to request a new one on 01174 621101.

What payment methods can I use?

You can become a WEAF member by filling our online form, or by calling 01174 621101. You can pay for your WEAF membership by credit or debit card or by invoice.

Will I get a confirmation email?

You should receive your confirmation email with your membership number within 1-hour of joining. If after this time you haven’t received the email please check your junk folder. If you’re still experiencing difficulty, please get in touch by calling 01174 621101.

How do I get a VAT invoice?

If you need a copy of a VAT Invoice, please get in touch by calling 01174 621101.

What data will you collect on my application?

We take data protection very seriously. Read our privacy policy to find out how we keep our members’ personal details safe. No personal information such as address or bank details will be collected or stored.
