Strategic Vision

WEAF’s Vision and Purpose

What we do

We promote Aerospace & Advanced Engineering within the South West region of the UK, focussing our activities towards the SME’s supported by the larger regional Primes.

Why we do it

WEAF is focused on developing and sustaining  the most important aerospace and advanced engineering region in the UK. Encouraging our members to thrive, innovate and grow. To empower individuals and help to inspire the next generation.

How we do it

We enable our members to connect, share, solve problems and create opportunities together. Signposting them to access the tools needed to help enhance competitiveness. We support innovation through cluster networking, funding and collaboration. Provide a range of network/clustered based events to stimulate growth and enable B2B communications. We act as the voice of regional SME’s into Regional/National/International stakeholders.
